The importance of Jerusalem Council of 48AD/CE
The council of Jerusalem Council mentioned in ACTS 15 prevented christianity from being two sect; namely the Jewish (Circumcision) and Non-Jewish (Uncircumcision) christianity. It is very important in the history of christianity in resolving the issue of circumcision and gentile christian. Paul took courage to present the issue to the leaders/elders/pillar of the christianity of that time-James (Jesus half brother?), Cephas (Peter) and John. It was the wonderful working of the Holy Spirit from falling apart in such infant stage.
The elders commissioned Paul to take the gospel to the non-Jewish and uncircumcise people. So, there is no reason to doubt about Paul teaching.
Another elements of the gospel of Jesus Christ is reaching to the poor. It was specifically mentioned the advice given to the Paul. One thing we can't miss about Paul is, he was a good funds collector. Concern for the poor has always been an integral part of the gospel work since its very beginning.
Here is possible chronology of Paul's life (the dates are approximate)
0 or 1 AD/CE--Paul's birth year at Tarsus, in the province of Cilicia
30 AD*-- Crucifixion of Jesus Christ
32 AD*-- Paul's conversion (Probably in his early 30s)
48/49* AD-- Jerusalem Council
49/50 AD -- Paul in Corinth (He stayed since winter until summar 51 for about 1 and half year)
52-55 AD -- Paul in Ephesus
55-56 or Spring of 57 AD -- Last stay in Macedonia & Greece; Journey to Jerusalem and his
Arrest; Taken prisoner to Rome
58-60 AD -- Two Years imprisonment in Rome
(There is also a view that Paul was released for little while before re-arrested)
60-64 AD -- Martyardom under Nero (For external source watch "Quo Vadis")

Tenants in the Vineyard (Matthew 21: 33-45, Mark 12: 1-12, and Luke 20: 9-19)

No doubt, the parable is subversive and we can see that from the reactions of the chief priest and Pharisees. The parable posts a great challenge and need careful study. In most cases today, it was the owner who is manipulating the poor tenants. The tenants are the one who are tossing and twisting by landlord. Now, certainly we are not identifying with errant tenants in the vineyard. The great challenge here for a pastor is “where can we fit in to the parable?” We are neither tenants nor the owner. Who are we then? We are other tenants who will be given the vineyard by the Landlord! How can we draw meaning and purpose from such subversive parable is a great challenge. In the present world, the resemblances we can observe with that of the errant tenants are our politicians and those big business people who are money mongers. I don't understand!

The meaning of Christian has been jeopardize and damaged by some "holier than thou" people. Something is terribly missing the today's Christian. As far as the meaning of Christian is concern, it means follower of Christ! not something like religion of sect of this world. Many Christians missed the core value and principle of the Christian. Christ is all about loving, caring, sharing, and giving to all those who are deprived of such. It is easy to love those who are able, easy to care for those are well to do, easy to share with those whom we trust, generous to give to those who can give us back some day! Absolutely there is complete absent of Christian value in this kind of actions and way of life. I hate myself when I found in one those situations.
