Language: the most powerful

There are something in our life that caught us unaware. Sometime, we jumped in fully aware of the consequences but could not resist it. It gives solution to our craving momentarily. We realized when it was too late that it is not easy as it get us into the habit. There are things that appear essential and could not resist it or something we ought to have if we are to get along with the time and generation. After considering some of the things that inhibits our lives without fully realizing its consequences is the 'language' - foreign language to be precise.
We tend to immerse into the idea that the language of the powerful makes us powerful! Academically, I might sound rather odd and out of place. True! Since most of the academic works are in foreign language, it is essential for us to learn their language to read them and understand them. As far as in academic world is concern, no one is to be blame. They pass on the idea for the generation to come. We shall forever grateful to all the big ideas shares by those great minds. In this academic aspects I have nothing say more. But I would like to say something about those power taking advantage of language.
If indeed our Creator have made a division of classes of human being, I would have remain silent and nothing much to say but I strongly believed all human being are created equal. Some are wise in their own way, and some are not very wise for others, but we begin and end our life in the same way.
People and power take advantage of the language in exploiting. Have you ever heard about invaders learning the language of the land invaded? Well, they may learn those phrases of the kitchen and bazar. Whether we like it or not, the English language captured us and still we are under the spell of this language. That is why I am writing in English. Without this language, I could not communicate rationally with the rest of my fellow human being who did not understand my language. It was so powerful beyond our grasp that we did not even fell we are being captive. When I was in Philippines, my Filipinos friends love to used their language even though most of them know English. I find them releasing from clutches of the English language. Now, I find using our native language as something revolutionary.
