Theology Of Day To Day Life

My observation on heresy is that, they dare to think differently. Recalling the life of our Lord Jesus Christ here on earth, it must be really hard for our Lord to say and think what He has to say and think. The Old Testament's Judaism was the main stream or popular religion during Jesus time. Whether we like it or yes, Jesus spoke of God in more intimate and personal terms, such 'I in you; you in Me', 'My Father and I are One' et cetera et cetera. The Scribes of the Pharisees, Sadducees and Sanhedrin's members thought that Jesus was not speaking the same way they spoke. If Jesus is in physical person today as He was about 2000 years ago, many Christians might not accept Him today. Just simply because He is not fit into their various policy and programs. Jesus dare to think out of the box. He received sinners while the religions condemn sinners. Jesus could be consider heretic in His time by the main stream religion. While my brief stay in the Republic Of Philippines, I came across this word 'dancing God'. In India, we do have a hindu's dancing god called Shiva or Siva. This Shiva is a god of destroyer (in hindu religions, they have god who creates, who destroy, so on and so forth). Filipino are jolly people, they are cheerful and cordial and the most friendly people in the Asia if not in the whole world. They love to sing and dance. The meaning of Christian has been jeopardize and damaged by some "holier than thou" people. Something is terribly missing the today's Christian. As far as the meaning of Christian is concern, it means follower of Christ! not something like religion of sect of this world. Many Christians missed the core value and principle of the Christian. Christ is all about loving, caring, sharing, and giving to all those who are deprived of such. It is easy to love those who are able, easy to care for those are well to do, easy to share with those whom we trust, generous to give to those who can give us back some day! One fine day (while, for some, it might not be that "fine"), one good but little known friend from other planet cracked joke for me. I was trying to get the gist of his joke but unfortunately it never happened. For my friend, he still find his own joke very funny and he laughed all along until the end of the joke. Just to avoid embarrassment, I joined him, though I felt little awkward. Realizing that I was not quite following him, he started to explain the joke. Now, when the joke is explain or translated, it is not that funny as it should be in the first impression. Northeast India was known by many conspicuous accolades such as “Jewel of India,” “Switzerland of the East”, and many more. Without doubt our past was magnificently good and topographically striking. There was a time we were living in abundance. The world is getting better and worst everyday. The number of terrorist attacks also increasing in tandem with the number of military forces deployed by terrorist-free-loving countries.
